The SAFARI Montage iOS app expands the support for SAFARI Montage to Apple iOS devices, such as the iPad and iPhone. The application offers user-friendly navigation and enhances access to existing SAFARI Montage functionalities, enabling mobile usage in 1:1 and BYOD educational settings.

It's important to note that the app necessitates a correctly configured SAFARI Montage server and adjusts dynamically to grant entry to a mobile feature set tailored to the school district’s SAFARI Montage environment and installed modules.

Upon installation, users can connect by inputting the school or district’s SAFARI Montage server (the same host name visible in the browser's address bar when accessed via a web browser), selecting the relevant school name, and logging in with their SAFARI Montage credentials.

The app's features adapt in real-time to the district’s installed modules and comprise:

• Access to the SAFARI Montage Dashboard and system features optimized for iPhone and iPad
• Capability to search for and play content licensed via SAFARI Montage, as well as content uploaded by district users on SAFARI Montage CreationStation®
• For districts with CreationStation, users with Upload Rights, including teachers and students, can capture live images and videos and promptly upload them from their iPad or iPhone
• For districts with the Multi-Format Auto-Converter module, supported video and document uploads are automatically converted to mobile-friendly formats
• For districts with the Digital Curriculum Presenter™ (DCP) module:
  • The Get it?™ functionality enables students to utilize their mobile devices as a student response system for formative assessment sessions
  • View & Chat sessions allow interactions between students and teachers during DCP lessons using mobile devices
• For districts with Pathways SM™, access is granted to reservations, rooms, and device remote controls
